Jon Beck
Founder
Jon is the owner and lead Clinician for Another Chance Counseling LLC. Mr. Beck holds a Master of Arts in Counseling . He has over 8 years experience in his field and is licensed as an LPC and ADC. Mr. Beck specializes in Substance Use Recovery,Men’s Issues , and Mental Wellness.

Kyla Moore Alexander
Board Treasurer
Kyla, MA, CAC, LPCA, IS A Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Counselor, and certified addictions specialist, who has provided clinical counseling in emergency and outpatient settings since 2011. Today, she provides therapy services to adolescents with presenting mental health, and or behavioral concerns, in both preventative and interventive basis, for Spartanburg's School district 7.

Chris Utsey
Board Trustee
Masters level, Outpatient Therapist at the Carolina Center for Behavioral Health. Former counselor for SC Vocational Rehabilitation Dept. and Employment Specialists/Community Relations for United Ministries. Currently Chris has begun his private practice with Yadira Lockwood LLC here in the upstate.

Ronnie McCarrell
Ronnie McCarrell has extensive background in the counseling field. His career cover 30 years, encompassing a range of settings: juvenile residential programs, outpatient, in home college and private practice. This broad experience highlights his versatility and deep understanding of various therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT).
Ronnie McCarrell graduted from Webster University with a Masters Degree in Counseling. He is credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, and Licensed Addiction Counselor in South Carolina.
In addition to his counseling practice, Ronnie McCarrell is currently serving fulltime at Southern Wesleyan Universtiy as an Assistant Professor in their Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology Program. His role as a mentor and educator allows him to inspire and guide graduate level college students, fostering their development as critical thinkers and successful counselors.
Mr. McCarrell's involvement in professional organizations, such as the SC Counseling Association, SC Clinical Mental Health Counselors Association, Addictions Professionals of SC, Helping Professionals Connect, and the National Association of Perpetrators, reflects his commitment to staying connected with the counseling community and contributing to the advancement of the field.

Jeremy David

Lois Martin
Lois Martin is a native of Greenville SC . She graduated from James F. Byrnes H.S in 1987. She currently works in Leadership as a Clinical Navigation Coordinator at the Greenville County Alcohol and Drug Commission; also known as the Phoenix Center.
I have worked in the Mental Health field for +25 years. This is in addition to the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment ; public school, residential setting and the Private Practice sector; family counseling .
Lois is a 2021 Graduate of Leader School. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2009, and BA in Psychology from Limestone University . She also holds two Associate of Arts degrees: Criminal Justice (SMC 1989) and Early Childhood Education, (SCC 2002).
Certifications: CSAP, ADC, AADC-P
Lois is a Proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Gamma Mu Zeta, Spartanburg Chapter where she serves on various committees and as the current Chair for the Mental Health Committee
Lois has entrusted 25 years into one marriage and has three beautiful children ages: 18, 21 & 31.
Interests: I enjoy serving in the community and the church ministry, traveling, shopping and reading.

Specializing in graphic design, web design, custom logos, and overall business branding. A self-published author, former homeschool educator to her now-adult daughters, and devoted wife of over 20 years, she brings a grounded yet visionary perspective to every role. Known for her unique problem-solving skills, acute attention to detail, and ability to drive measurable results, she excels in both collaborative teams and independent leadership. Fluent in emerging technologies and digital platforms, she is passionate about leveraging innovation to support inclusive growth.
